Web Based "WiFinder"..

Here is a JAVA based wireless internet access finder. It seems to work fairly well, although I haven't tested it in too many locations...

Of course, I am now a proponent of trying out another Open Mesh network system, and may just have to buy a couple of these to try them out on campus. The components look 'cheap' at around $50 each.

There are some hard to reach spots that would benefit from Open Mesh, but I am not sure how it will mix with Netgear, and Linksys of different types. The outdoor and indoor housings have appeal for efficiency.
